Food for Thought... Are you Religious - What then is Your Religion?
Many people define religion as Church people with religious views.
This word has been greatly narrowed down by people who say that they are atheists, non-believing in Church religion. Narrow minded people.
These same people are down the pub with beer in one hand and talking to their pub pals about the soccer match that they talk and talk very passionately about the game that they watched either on the television or at a Football grounds… and so people get caught up with the passion, spreading like wild fire through the pub. While there through that, they got four converts who got enthused by their passion that they wanted to join a club.
What evangelists, to infuse people with great excitement of the gospel (good news) of their football team that played so well that they were dutiful, thorough, faithful, loyal and most reliable for their cause.
What church did you say that they go too, that believed what they thought was right?.
Would you not agree that everyone has their own religion… whether it be Football, Cricket, Cooking, and Sportsmen/Women? So the list could go on!
What is your passion, which makes it your religion?Do I preach the greatest football team, or do I preach Christ Crucified!? Are we not talking about religion?

I really believe Christianity is my RELATIONSHIP with the living, risen Savior Jesus. God dislikes the rote behavior of religion. He wants us to see Him as Father, Abba, Daddy.

When in all purpose it really points to other Meanings, And it is those people who have Narrowed it down in their thinking, are as Narrow Minded People. Did you not know, that Marriage IS a Religion!?

Just because one doesn't believe in the Church or God, doesn't give you the right to call us narrow minded people, or presume to think you know what we do in our lives, because you don't. I don't call you a Bible Pounder because you believe. That's your belief, and I would never call you narrow mined because of what you believe in, that's your choice, so you have no right to open your mouth about who doesn't believe.
So right, in every sense of the word "Abba Father". We are sons and daughters of the living God... having a complete real relationship with Him; that is our religion!
