Site Support as your last course of action to resolve the issue

Few days ago, as i published a new post on my site it indicates not secure so i asked the community how to fix it. Knowing it has something to do on my images set as http instead of https. So i took down all the images. Upon scanning all of my posts i got one that was posted a week ago has the same issue so i have do the same, to take down all the images and change it. But it didn't fixed the issue.

The community has been so HELPFUL to me of their suggestions. I installed SSL Insecure Content Fixer plugin and normally my server detects https. I checked my SSL Certificate and it's valid and SiteSSL(Https) is on. So,I spent checking my links and settings then i run the test to padlock but my SSL connection is error so my Certificate test failed.

Last issue, I noticed my permalink inside the wordpress is on http but the site is loading as https. (Make sure to check all of your permalink settings posts maybe it is on http instead of https.)

I coudn't find the issue so i sent a ticket to Site Support and just one minute they fixed the issue. Whew! Thank you WA community and Site Support!

Never give up learning.

Good day everyone.

The community and Site support are simply the best.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I had the same issues as you. I fix my issues and my site is working much better. Thank you for sharing the name of the plugin you used. I am going to install it as well so I don't run into the same thing again.

All my best to you,
Heidi

You're most welcome. I installed SSL Insecure Content Fixer plugin after watching MarionBlack training. Hope this helps.

The plugin option really should be the last resort, as it is possible to resolve all of these issues without a plugin. The plugin is a lazy option out ;-)

I have the plugin installed and checked my SSL Certificate then run the test on padlock for last try check but it failed.

After making the changes, did you clear your server cache before running the check again?

Have you also checked that your website is definitely set to https by going to Tools -> Site Health -> Info -> WordPress and checking the values for Site URL and Home URL?

Is the why no padlock test telling you which image is causing the issue for you?

Thank you very much for sharing 🤩🥳

Beautiful. We learn everyday

You can check your Site URL and Home URL by logging into your WordPress website and going to Tools -> Site Health -> Info -> WordPress

if one of these says http, then you need to contact SiteSupport to resolve it for you.

Thank you Chrystopher for that. I will do that for the future if it happens again.
