OK I'm going to go out on a limb here - my website needs some love! I've been pouring my heart and soul into this but I'm still having trouble getting some traction. Yesterday I wrote a blog post for Valentine's Day about Exotic Animals as Emotional Support Pets - how do I get this to rank higher? how can I improve traffic? does anybody know of someone who would like to adopt a 7-legged Chilean Pink-Toed Tarantula?

I am going out on a limb here too, to answer your question; but it can be of help to the both of us.
I did a little research on you and I see that we joined right about the same time. I see that you are much more further along in the scheme of things than I am therefore, the only thing I can think of that can be preventing traction to your website is time and interest.
As far as time goes, it is a business growing organically so it will happen when you make the write move at the right time. As far as interest goes, when I checked out your website my first thought is how many people within WA know about 'eros'? If you haven't already, maybe a blog on the subject would draw some traction. Should you can pique their interest enough that they will want to check out the other interesting things you have to offer. I like your website. I get it and it is unique. And I love your homepage screen. Personally, I see it as a useful tool when I am meditating on certain symbolisms and the nature of humanity.
This is just an opinion. Like I said, I am new myself and fulfilling my duty as a WA member to answer a question for a fellow member so I hope you do not mind the "suggestion". Please feel free to return the favor.

Hi Gera! Thank you so much for your suggestion - maybe I am expecting too much too soon LOL
It looks like we have a few things in common actually! I started out with the same theme as you but I found it was too restrictive for ad placement. I do like the way you make it scroll though, I couldn't figure that part out. If you find it restrictive once you get to the ads, I can suggest another theme that looks like manilla folder tabs, I'm using it on my WA site https://noeticabundance.com. It's called Mantra and it's super easy to use and customize.
As for your niche, I know a little about that too. I worked in IT Tech Support for 15 years and the last 5 years have all been contract positions. I just got sick of it all! No benefits, no support system, it was rough. I got injured on the job site about 6 months ago and swore I'd never go back to being tied to a telephone. I love working from home! Anyway, I do have some good suggestions for you though, look up FlexOffers.com and sign up for the business services like Consumer Credit Card Relief, Business Solutions like Yelp, VMWare and there's loads more. You could also sign up for the LinkedIn and Indeed Remote Headhunter programs and help people get new jobs. You've got a great niche there and there's lots of room for growth! Good Luck!
