I've started a couple of websites and I keep having to go back to Kyle's lessons for the basic steps. Here they are in a nutshell:

1. Buy domain... I'm using namecheap
2. Add nameservers to domain in namecheap (ns1.mywahosting.com and ns2.mywahosting.com)
3. Use Site Rubix, Site Manager to build the new website
4. Create email forwarding in Site Rubix, Site Email
5. Login to website
   1. Activate and update plugins
   2. Clean up by deleting default posts, default pages and default comments if present
   3. Set up All in one SEO
      1. General Settings - Home Page Settings (title and description that's seen in Google search)
   4. Create users
   5. Start creating pages under choice user
   6. Basic three pages
      1. Main page
      2. About Me
      3. Privacy Policy (ensure it doesn’t get indexed by checking the boxes NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW, NOODP, and NOYDIR)
