The beauty of this business is that you can operate it from anywhere in the world , no restrictions whatsoever you will not be an affiliate you will be an Amazon partner and once you establish one product you can research another product then another and so on - Most products can be sourced from USA, china or southeast Asia without any great difficulty
Quality is paramount
The only thing you must make sure of is the product quality you will not gain any business credibility with Amazon if you try to sell junk. Amazon have many tools within their platform that makes it very easy to research top selling products and their ranking in the Amazon group Similar Google analytics so its not hard to select and source a product .

This definitely sounds like the way to go if a person can bankroll the initial inventory purchase, cannot argue with the profit percentage at all! I would be interested in hearing how your initial go at this turns out, Ray! Thanks for the post.
Best of luck with your endeavors Ray. Anyone considering this - please do your homework first. I recall looking into this a couple of years ago, and Amazon would not fulfill shipments from Australia and certain other countries too. You had to have a USA address, a USA bank account and SSL certificates. It was not easy to do from outside the USA. Things may have changed since 2011 Ray - maybe they have?
I really like your thinking. I have through a site that I run sold £4,000 plus of Amazon product and have accrued only a couple of hundred pounds in commission. Your scheme seems to have a lot more profit potential. Please let us know how you get on with your 500 unit test.
I do understand where your coming from Terry and it may be a little too advanced for Newbies Bless them, But it is something worth considering if you have a little seed money and some passion to earn well in online marketing you would be riding Amazon's success and its almost a no brainer if you have followed Wealthy Affiliates Training ,
Later I plan to do some training on the subject.
The other reason I decided to do a blog/post on this subject was that I watched a Business Opportunity on this business model last week and they were selling an 8 week course including. so they said some Fantastic auto software for would you believe $3659 - Bloody opportunists !!! so I thought I'd make sure that none of our members fell into this Trap.

I'm not sure that most of the people on here have had enough training to do this. It might confuse some Newbies. Maybe, if you've done the training for WA Affiliate Bootcamp, it might have been wiser to post it on that discussion board for more advanced users to choose whether they wanted to add that to their strategy for earning money online.
It sounds interesting, but not sure if I'd be able to have any money to start paying for any quantity of product until I've earned some money from online. I am using gofundme.com to get money so I can continue my training & web hosting here. So, if I don't have any money to invest here, others might not either. That's why they are taking the training here at WA--to earn money online.
The reason I wrote this post was that last week someone was bitching about not being able to operate as an Amazon Affiliate in colorado and some other areas in the world with thsi business model it doesnt matter where you live so I wrote the post/blog
