My Aunt sends me some great stuff. She is the one that sends me all of those great animal pictures.
Today she sent me one that I will treasure. The title of my blog says it all. It is very touching in light of what has happened to one our greatest and most talented entertainers. Even more important, he was a genuinely kind and gentle person. This was a little hard for me to watch because his ending was so tragic and far too soon.
This is done in his best comedic humor, but with dignity and respect to our great country.

Good for you. We used to fly ours on all the special occasions, but now I can't reach it. I must admit I do feel guilty about not flying the flag anymore.
I've seen that before. He was brilliant. He gave so much joy to so many, but he could never find the joy in his own soul. He is missed.

I think the world lost a great talent due to untreated mental health issues. I hope his passing helps bring attention to the realities of depression of mental health. As a social worker, it upsets me that government funding for mental health services is cut every year but more people than ever need services. If you know someone that is depressed or has any other mental health issues, please offer them support and encourage them to seek help. Thank you...I will get down off of my soap box now. :)
