Starting My Journey To Build My First AI Agent

Hello Everyone,

Codex has been added to ChatGPT Plus and higher tiers today

So I am diving right in.

First to explain Codex:

One agent for everywhere you code

Codex is OpenAI’s coding agent for software development. ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Edu, and Enterprise plans include Codex. It can help you:

• Write code: Describe what you want to build, and Codex generates code that matches your intent, adapting to your existing project structure and conventions.
• Understand unfamiliar codebases: Codex can read and explain complex or legacy code, helping you grasp how teams organize systems.
• Review code: Codex analyzes code to identify potential bugs, logic errors, and unhandled edge cases.
• Debug and fix problems: When something breaks, Codex helps trace failures, diagnose root causes, and suggest targeted fixes.
• Automate development tasks: Codex can run repetitive workflows such as refactoring, testing, migrations, and setup tasks so you can focus on higher-level engineering work.

I am also using ChatGPT Plus to help me with Prompts for Codex.

So I/we have slowly begun to build an AI Agent that can take OCR Scans of books and turn them into text documents that I can work with.

Not sure how long this is going to take, but I will update eventually when I have something more to share.

I've also been using Python with ChatGPT Plus & Claude Pro's assistance to go through Project Gutenberg's 76,000 titles and see the ones that would be 200 pages or less to work with. That could take days to finish.

Currently it has 998 titles and counting.

I've never felt so far out of my comfort zone, but I am ALL IN on doing this.
