I do not need to register the publishing names, Isabella.

ChatGPT is correct regarding where the ISBN will be on the back cover. I was referring to where it also appears inside the book.

Also I don't believe its necessary to leave a white space on your cover. I never have. KDP Amazon will automatically place the ISBN where it belongs over whatever we have there.

But I suppose the ISBN doesn't need to appear inside the book, does it? As I understand it, I won't know the ISBN number until after I've submitted the book to Amazon.

I've never seen a book without the ISBN inside of it.

I have the interior all ready to go except for ISBN. When submitting to KDP Amazon on the top of the 2nd page you can get the ISBN. Then I add that to the interior and export the file as a PDF. Then your next steps is to Upload the interior to KDP Amazon.

So its all part of the process, Isabella.
