Feed Your Mind And You Won't Give Up
Hello to all. Today, I experienced a frustration on a project that didn't go so well. I had been working on a brochure for my business but, something told me to ask for help. I consulted with some good business friends to have them review my material. I found out that the whole project was a squash and I had to start all over. I was so frustrated and I almost cried. I am gonna be honest. I had worked for 6 hours on this project and I was more upset with myself for not asking for help at the beginning.
How did I release my frustration? I went for a walk and cleared my mind. Afterwards, I watched some personal development videos and read a couple of chapters. Why am I saying this? Well, it is so easy to throw in the towel and give up. But, I know the dreams I want so badly. Luckily, I was advised that I needed personal development when I decided to start working from home. I did not understand why I would need something like that but, it was good to take courses and read books. Well, today was the day I did need the personal development.
After I let off some steam and cleared my mind, I was ready to get back to work. Now, I am on the right track and working on my project again. I know that it will get done right this time. Sometimes, we have to take a hard fall to change the course and make sure we are not walking into a dead end.
I can't give up. I have invested way too much time, money, and myself. I want the dream and I am going after it with everything I got.
I am so thankful for WA.

The harder the fall the higher the bounce! Way to rise above the frustration. Thanks for sharing. ~Shane
