I'd appreciate opinions on my new affiliate website: http://brainteasingpuzzlesandgames.siterubix.com

Hi,

Moritz stole my thunder. I will say it seems incomplete, for there are arent alot of games on there. Maybe throw in some non affiate games as well, so it doesnt look like the site is money driven,

Listen to Moritz, for he does make a lot of sense

Hi,
it's a good start but there are still some things missing.
E.g. you don't have a "about me" page.
People like to see who they are dealing with.

And you shouldn't do only reviews of products, but other articles, too.
Not sure what you can write about in your niche, but if you are only trying to sell you forget about actually helping people who are having problems.

I would get rid of the "Meta Widget" in your site bar.
Nobody needs that.

Putting that many affiliate links in one article can also hurt your google rankings.

You need images and videos for better visuals.

Generally, follow the training more and don't race ahead.
Step by step.

Anyone willing to check out my website?

I own the domain sellyourwidgets and have been thinking about using it to start a site in regards to running a small business, things to do to start, business planning, etc. Th

Thank you all for your advice, you have given me things to consider. The term "widgets" came from the general business/economic term used as a catch-all to describe something being manufactured or sold as a example. I'm thinking that there may be a problem with not enough people recognizing the term. Now I need to think of a new name and see if I like it better.

I think you will be better off with another custom domain url. Sellyourwidgets is too specific to the term widgets and doesn't tie in with new business startups theme. One of my generic sounding domain url is easywayforeverything.com. This would be generic enough for almost any theme or biz.

I think it is a good domain name for the purpose you have stated. You can always add a sub title - "running a small business" or along those lines.

The domain name is not what attracts traffic. You can use small business related keywords to reach your intended target audience.

You can also ensure that structure data mark up (search snippet) for the first two lines that appear in the search engines under your domain anme clearly explains what your site is about so the right people will click through to your site. ~Jude

Hey Melissa. Well the URL should be as relevant as possible to what your site has to offer. For instance my site I'm working on, http://pianosongsforbeginners.org, is geared towards inspiring people to learn how to play the piano and giving them all the accessories they need to get started.

When I read your URL, the first thing I think of is that you are not giving sales advice. I think "oh, I don't need my widget anymore, I can sell it to this place and get some cash for it!" Am I right in thinking this? That's what I automatically assume when I see that URL, I hope this helps. By the way, you have a stunningly beautiful profile pic :)
