A reminder why I started this journey.
It's about time I said Hi...
I thought after being a member here for just over six months; it was time to break out my written voice and say hello WA community. So,
"Hello all, I hope everyone is happy and doing well?"
When I first started this WA journey, I was all excited, fired up, thought I would be loaded within the first month. Haha! Partly joking, you gotta laugh but, be honest, who else thought the same?
Well, I am thankful to say, I am not, as yet, loaded. Why am I thankful? Because, if it all came pouring down on me at once, I would have not learned as much as I have. And life is one big lesson, right?
For over three years, I have wanted to build my own online business. I found lots of information online, most of it was trash, and I got mixed up with a company that was after only one thing, my money! They did "talk the talk", and seemed to "walk the walk", no wonder I came out of it thinking the world would drop at my feet. I realised they were after my cash, but was still a little "brainwashed' in a way. I thought that actually, it wasn't them, but me, I wasn't the right calibre (too poor) for their "club". But surely, if all their members were doing so well, so could I, even if I chose a different path?
Within days of leaving that company, I did find a different route. WA seemed to "pop up" from nowhere. How about that for "ask, and it is given." Thank goodness! Have I become rich since joining? Nope, in fact, my site is still being built and is a body of work. But I AM wealthy. Wealthy with support, proper advice, and education. For that, I am most grateful. Thank you, WA. Thank you to all of you great people who jump in to help me as well :)
Do I get despondent and think "leave it." YES! Am I overwhelmed at times? YES! Have I turned off the computer and hidden for days on end? YES! Being uncomfortable is scary! Believe me, over the past six months; I have had this ongoing battle with myself. Go back to a day job... its safe, its routine, its accepted, it's what people DO!
Enough waffle, you get my drift, I'm sure. Possibly some of you relate? I want to share this with you; a photocopy a friend had on her kitchen table, yonks ago. It struck me so much back then that I took a picture. I don't know where it came from so no Copywrite infringement intended. I came across it a few days ago, while looking at my old photos. It certainly reminded me of why I am doing what I'm doing. Maybe it will strike a cord with you guys too!

We all are human, and we do have limits as to how much we can take and handle. But the best thing about it is that we can adapt and change our mindsets too.
Risk is the only thing that wakes us up and says that life is spontaneous and exciting, something worthwhile doing with all the mystery of what the future might be if we step out into the unknown.

HOPEFULLY YOU STARTED THIS JOURNEY TO MAKE MONEY. everything else should be secondary.
Every company is after your money. Why else be in business? the unique thing about WA is that it is a collection mostly of beginners. It is a support group more than anything else. If you need to feel good about yourself this is the place. If you are a hardened business person this may not be the place for you. Most times I feel it is not the place for me.
my partner led us into another program in which we spent maybe $7,000 on Tools. We are not Poor. All of us had 6 figure business salaries at the time. That program is not for WAERS. I am Not sure we will do as well with WA as we did with the other program but I am so stubborn I refuse to let Keith beat me.
