Feeling accomplished
It's amazing the challenges you can overcome when you combine passion with determination. I've gotten to a point in my life and career where I value my family over everything else and I've put my foot down and decided to create my own freedom, financially and time, to honor them.
I signed up, poked around a little, saw the amazing community and upgraded my membership within days. I'm now completing the last lesson and tasks in Course 2, purchased 2 domain names, and have started building out my first site which has 3-4 posts. It's not nearly up to my perfectionistic expectations but as my profile states, I've turned into a realist and I think it's AWESOME for where I am on this journey so far! I wish I were further along but I work full-time and my awesome little boys keep me busy when I'm home. That I've been said, I've decided not to make excuses and so I stay up many hours after they go to bed to grind away and make my dreams come true. Heck, I wish I would have known about WA while I was on maternity leave just a few months ago as I could have put in some major time on this.
Oh well...can't dwell!
So I'll keep my eyes on the prize and continue to work with what I've got. I'm so encouraged by you all and appreciate the continuous support. Kyle and Carson have done an AMAZING job on this program from the training (including all those awesome nuggets of detail!) to the building of community, we'd truly be lost without you guys outlining EVERY STEP!
If you are a person who is highly motivated and trying to better your situation for the sake of your family like me, I'd love to follow you and continue to inspire each other as we navigate what used to be such a large and intimidating challenge that I would have never considered! Let's build SUCCESS side by side!
