:-) Some of you know that I created my blog's Youtube Channel yesterday (see "My First Youtube Channel Was Born Today!" (https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/megawealthy9/blog/my-first-y... ).

Well, I also shot my first video!
I knew what I wanted to talk about. I found a place to attach my phone somewhere on my terrace/balcony so my husband would not have to be my cameraman. I got an acceptable angle and an acceptable view (I was definitely not going for perfection! ;-) I believe perfection sometimes kills good intentions.). I made sure my pyjamas top was looking okay. Hahaha!! I love the idea of recording a video in my PJs! Authentic is my middle name! ;-) And I started!
It went very well BUT at some point, I lost the image and there was a message on the screen. But as I was in the middle of my story, and I wasn't sure what this meant, I just kept going. See, my goal was ONE take and NO editing!! Hahaha!! I just like simple, authentic stuff! ;-)
At the end of my recording, I went to press the stop button and saw that the video recording had already stopped. OUCH!

The question was then:

How much of the about 5-7 minutes I think I spoke was actually recorded? I looked... 2m20!!! Aaaaarrrrrrggggggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! ;-)
So my husband helped me check why that was... and we found out that it was a MEMORY problem... I had been keeping too much old photos and videos on my phone! There was not enough space for my new stuff!!
Very symbolic since I have been doing a lot of work on myself, about clearing past memories and blocks to heal/clear my camera-shyness and move forward on my journey!! Super symbolic indeed!

So here is my first lesson learned from this
Before you start making a video for your Youtube Channel, make sure you have enough memory space on the device you are using! :-)
I guess I can still keep this 2m20 video, shoot the rest and then edit the whole thing together. But I would really prefer to do a one-take video with no editing... so I think I am going to try again from scratch once I have cleared my phone. :-)
And this time, I am also going to make sure there is no rubber band forgotten on the terrace table! Second lesson learned... :-)
Have a beautiful day everyone!
To our Success,
Nathalie
