Onwards and Upwards

Well it's been an insane week! Last week I had a crazy, busy week. Tuesday with loads of running around and trying to get organised for the days ahead as I knew they would be CRAZY. Wednesday and Thursday I worked in my part-time job and that takes 14 hours out of my day and I am shattered by the time I get home. Friday was spent doing the final touches ready for my garage sale and then Saturday/Sunday was the garage sale. I made $500 and got rid of a lot of stuff but still loads to go. Will be advertising a few things each day to get rid of the rest - spending money for the UK later this year!

Anyway this has meant very little work on my site and building traffic. One reason I have struggled in recent months is my old laptop, whilst still functional, didn't like the upgrade to the new operating system I did. It was causing it to run really slow and crash often. This made doing any work incredibly hard. At the beginning of April I purchased a new laptop which was on backorder and didn't arrive until mid-April when I handed it to my brother to set up for me.

As there were a few corruption issues on my old one my brother had to be careful how to bring everything over. Add in to the mix he had his first child at the same time I've had to patiently wait for him to have time to do it. I've been using an old windows laptop for the pat couple of weeks and for a Mac user that has been painful no matter how much my old one was being.

Anyway I got my new one yesterday! It is so fast, clean - I'm in love.

This means I will be able to write a blog post without the computer crashing and then logging back in to find that a whole chunk of article is gone. When you type over 80WPM that is potentially alot of information lost! I would get frustrated and put off writing and then realise I hadn't done a post and would scramble to get one written. So no delays now. I am on my way onwards and upwards.
