Your never to old too?.

People often say your never to old to learn and that every day's a school day. Well that's certainly true for me. I had a milestone birthday in April this year. I was quite apprehensive as the 22nd came ever closer (I'd done the king canute thing, but it's true... time and tide wait for no one) as I looked in the mirror, the young man, living in my head, smiled back and said hay fella, don't worry, you'll be ok... and as I sat with my family and friends, celibrating my 60th, I knew the voice in my head was right. I was and I am.... So my point, give me a chance, I'm getting on a bit... I discovered this amazing WA comunity quite by chance, some might call it fate, I prefere to call it good fortune.

I've been here just over two months now and yes it's been difficult at times, the old work life balance and old dog new tricks thing. However I've done it! I've built a blinking website (no it doesn't blink, but i'm sure there's a WP plugin) and written two pages of content. It's obviously a work in progress but it's up and it's been Google indexed. If you'd said 3 months ago build a website Steve I'm sure my response would have been unrepeatable. With the help of the fantastic training and you guys here, I now belive anything is possible.

I'm working my way through the training and writing new content for the website and do you know what? I'm loving it....

Now when I look in the mirror an older man looks back and winks but that young voice says see I told you so....
