Hi all

Im using this topic so i can update on what im doing and hopefully get help and suggestions to my goals and ideas as i push on through!!
Hopefully this is going to give me some motivation to keep at it when times are tough!!

Starting From Scratch (almost)
Before finding this community (i think it was thru jaaxy) i had already bought a domain name with no real idea on what to do with it, but with a little push from kyle explaining that it would be do able i have decided to concentrate on that.
So im now going thru the classrooms and im going to document for me and others to see where im at and hw im doing!!
LESSON 1 WELCOME
Profile Task is completed.... The image is when me and my g/f went to new york and im taking on the hulk.... I won btw for those that are interested, i opened a can of whoop ass on him!!
SUMMARY/THOUGHTS
Feel very welcomed and good introduction for me to take the site in!!

LESSON 2 MAKE MONEY
Task 1
Easily understand the infographic
2 billion people and counting online, so good for highlighting not to worry too much about competition

SUBtask... The 6 ways to make money, i have gone through it and im looking into affiliate programs for starters.
Im not using adsense as i dont want to rely on google only when it comes to monetizing the site due to all the updates and accts banned recently.
NOTE: Great little tip in there... in google search bar type in "product"+"affiliate program" using the quotes, i had been searching for affiliates before with little success but found a no. of them i hadnt seen before.
I will be looking to use a subscribe link to capture a list (do i need aweber for this??)
Amazon will of course will be used
Advertisers and my own product are not on my agenda as of yet
Summary of Subtask
I wasnt too sure here of what i should do, i was very tempted to go off on a tangent here and ended up clicking away from the classroom trying to take in all that was explained in the 6 steps which left me a bit uneasy feeling like i was out of my depth already.

Task 2 my financial goals
next 30 days.......$25
next 6 months......$$200-$500
until 05-05-2014...$2000-$5000
These are not written in stone... these are "bonuses" if i achieve them then WOW awesome but im going in with my feet firmly on the ground. I DONT expect anything....the only thing i expect is that ive done my hardest to achieve it.

Task 3 other goals inline with how im going to be getting where i want to be

NEXT 10 DAYS........ create pages with no content:
Home...(history and info on different styles)
Products with a drop down list of different styles...(affilaite products displayed)
Blog... (keyword targeted articles)
subscribe options!!
[does the plan for the site look ok considering its a product based affiliate site??]

NEXT 30 DAYS......
Home page....... to be completed
products page...all products to be completed
blog............1-3 articles created

Next 6 months....
Learn all i can about analyising the site
keep uptodate on products, adding more if req
outsource blog articles

Next 12 months....
Have 1st site optimised and completely running profits
Have 2nd site up and running
Less pressure and more financial freedom
LESSON THOUGHTS
A lot of people probably dont do this but im trying to make this a success for me, and if i seem a bit geeky or foolish for doing everything to the letter then so be it, 2 billion people remember,how many people are going to see this?? im rubbish at maths but im sure the % is miniscule compared.

Poker would have been 1st choice but im now doing the one
for the domain i already paid for

summary
pretty easy to go through, on task 3 and the things we should
understand are a bit daunting to newbies because they dont know how
they are going to do all of the 5 things yet
possibly add at the bottom not to worry yet!!!

Lesson 4
very easy to follow for people except for people who already have
their own domains on another hosting account (like myself), i tried to read the
comments to see if it was already answered but the amount of
comments are insanely epic!! I think by now you could have put
a FAQ list below with all the questions you have?
Im going to find the solution to my question on swapping nameservers
over later

not a lot to say except for problem above

pretty self explanatory

Thats it for now, ill update when i get further and hope this helps someone in the future!!
