hi everyone, how do i add 2 vertical lines in my posts one on the far left and the other on the far right so that my posts appear to be on a sheet of white paper?

any he

It can be done, but it's depending on how your theme is set up. Some themes make it easy to add CSS to individual pages and posts, and some don't.
You will have to use the margin and/or padding elements of CSS to do it.

But if you set it too wide, without defining a smaller white space for small screens, it will look stupid on cell phones (which now officially has 53% of all web browsing).

I can't give any CSS examples without diving into your theme, but don't do this without testing the outcome on all screen sizes. You can do that here: http://responsivedesignchecker.com/

My best advice; change to a theme that offers the layout you want and also displays it properly on small screens.

wow pretty cool! im not sure but my theme appeared to be responsive samsung for example 360×640

if you have a moment www.makemoneyonlinewithmike.com

it would be great if i could add boarders on all my posts and widgets etc

I had a look, and I think it looks great as it is. I am not sure where you want to add anything.

I appreciate the feedback, perhaps I'm just nitpicking for no reason lol

I will not comment on that one, but it is a situation I often have found myself in over the years. :)

I think the genesis theme is good as is just maybe some minor tweaking, but no big deal :)

Genesis is very good and maybe there is a setting somewhere that will solve it.

Hey Mike,

You could search for a WordPress theme that offers you that option. Example: Google searching "wp theme that looks like I'm writing on a piece of paper" (without the quotation marks, of course) I was offered one post that offers 21 paper textured & styled WordPress Themes (WPLift dot com to be more precise).

Hope this helps you.

thanks i am told it could also be added with some minor coding, not looking to change themes :)

Well, running that same Google search there was an older post that offered that information (2013, if I remember correctly) but it might NOT be responsive. Though you won't know unless you try.

thanks again Triblu!

Not possible in these days of dynamic themes - due to the fact that you can't get any kind of consistency between devices and browsers.

of coarse its possible I see it all the time

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone is having a great day!

Just curious, I haven't found any official training from Kyle or Carson regarding how to link up an autoresponde

Hey Mike,

You're right! There really is a LOT of tutorials on email autoresponding (see screen print below).

As for actual verbiage to use, you could check to see what is being offered in PLR packages that you could tweak for your own use. I suggest Google searching "plr autoresponder email series" (without the quotation marks, of course) to find those package offers.

Hope this helps you.

thank you this is a great starting point!

You'll have to write your own auto-responder series and choose your own auto-responder provider, there's not a lot of information about that here.

Hi everyone,

i recently found one of my new posts indexed on page 4. however, i noticed the actual URL was all in lower case letters (I always capitalize the first letter

That's great to hear Mike and now you can focus on other things instead.

exactly! but at least we learn something new all the time :)

Yes sir!

That's pretty strange. But usually when there is a number after a url it means that it was not the first post published with that URL.

You even have a number 2 that you might want to delete too: https://makemoneyonlinewithmike.com/is-max-international-a-scam/is-max-international-a-scam-2

its not in my wordpress how did you find that?

I think you have 3 posts with the same title
1) The post itself
2) https:// ...../.....2 - Only has one image
3) https://...../......3 - Also with only one image

And the one you saw with lowercase title was either post No. 2 or 3. So, the post with only image on it has been indexed!

Try go to to your post and search for the title of the post - it should list down post 2 and 3. If it is not there, try go to media and see if it's there.

If what I suspect turns to be true, we should learn something from it. An post with only an image can be indexed. :)

Let us know what did you find out from your checking.

:)
Joe

i must have some sort of virus because its not in my wp posts, and i never pubkished them

That's weird.
I checked the sitemap, and seemed there a bunch of duplicate 'posts'.

Get this plugin "Fix Duplicate" - run it and should listed all these posts with numbers behind them. You might want to check further if they are really dups.

:)
Joe

It looks like you've published two posts with different URLs. This is the complete post
https://makemoneyonlinewithmike.com/is-max-international-a-scam
And this is the one you'll want to delete
https://makemoneyonlinewithmike.com/is-max-international-a-scam/is-max-international-a-scam-3
Go to Posts > All Posts and look for the post you want to delete.

i dont know what to say the secind post does not exist

i scrolled down my posts and its not there

This post and others appear in your sitemap. Which plugin are you using to generate your sitemap? Do you have 2 plugins that generate sitemaps?

I found out the issue: in every post I have been labeling the alt tags with the headline of that particular post (max international scam, for example, all the alt tags were labeled the same.

Anyways, I went through every post last night and altered the image with different titles, then resubmitted my site map, and it worked :)

Thanks for the help

Just a guess but it looks like the image is what is ranking not the post itself.

It looks fine to me with 3 images and lots of text. URLs are always lowercase with hyphens between the words.

thanks for checking but the screen shot is what i see when i am on google and click on tbe link. did you click on the url here or did you search for it on google?

I clicked on the link here because I don't know which keywords you used to find it in Google search.

hi its " is max international a scam" clicking on the url here everything looks fine. on the net not so good

i managed to take a screen shot from my cell

Can you show your post ULR so that we can have a look.

hi I just added a screenshot

on the assumption you're using Wordpress, check your pages to make sure there isn't a link typo.

times you can have your page 'name' capitalised but the actual link may not be?
hard to say without looking, but that's what I'd check first.

Also, have you changed the name previously? or duplicated the page? Could Google have indexed you before and after the change?

I can see, it is capitalized. And the post looks ok.
Are you using smartphone to view it.

It's looks good.

:)
Joe

yes thanks im looking on it from my smart phone

So nothing's wrong.
2 possibilities - either the device set-up or your theme set-up.

I believe this is a responsive theme you are using. If so, it may be set in a way, the title will be lowercase for smartphone.

:)
Joe

yes the theme is working, but either way it should not be erasing everything from a cell regardless if its lower case.

just weird..

Hello everyone,

Today I logged in my webmaster tools back office and noticed some weird things going on..

1) I have only created 91 blogs yet Google is saying i hav

That does not just refer to blog posts. They might also be indexing categories and tags if you have not ticked the box in the All in One SEO setting to apply no-index to those. ~Jude

Due to a number of factor, this blog might helps

thanks everythings great

The images you use within your posts got indexed too Mike, so don't worry about that.

Thanks again buddy for your guidance

But did that help? lol.

I think so, still not too sure why it says I have 126 total indexed when my blogs are 91. Maybe, as it was suggested, some things got some other stuff mixed in as well like images, or categories, pictures etc

I think that me having over 500 images indexed must be a good thing :)

No it's not getting "mixed in", Google actually indexes images so that's why you're seeing 126 and not 91.

thanks John that makes a lot if sense

Also dont go deleting images from your site because it will show up as an error and then youll have problems like me, lol.

ok great advice I have never deleted anything. how did you correct the problem after deleting an image?

I didn't figure it out yet, lol.
