Can anyone tell me if there is more in depth training on links?
Matthew type in links in the search bar above,and you should find copious blog posts concerning them!

as Kyle thinks that they are not necessary ( and google keeps changing the rules on them) then i suspect that only members will create training on backlinks.
be careful with them, don't pay for links.
very high quality links will help but try to make them natural.

i would concentrate on creating high quality content and marketing within your niche - you may get noticed and start creating backlinks faster that way.
create content that people want to link back to ( become an authority)
