Another Step Forward
They say that Rome wasn't built in one day, of course not, right? Nobody can build a whole city in 24 hours no matter how powerful or influencial they can be, it's just not possible. It has to be built road by road, building by building and each building are built brick by brick.
Why do we expect things to be different when we are learning something new, whatever it is? Weather it's a new sport or learning a new skill, we would like to know or master everything about it the first time we go at it.
Did this ever happened to you? I'm sure it did. In fact, it happens to every single one of us. WHY? Because we are HUMAN, we like things to be EASY and we very often lack patience, specially in today's modern society.
So this time, I decided to put my patience to practice and follow the lessons step by step, one by one and celebrate every little move. You must think I'm crazy, right?
But, if we think about it for a second, have you noticed how we tend to remember the difficult parts and the very awesome parts when we are going through something? But the little steps that we take every day that are moving us forward to these amazing parts, we don't remember them. WHY? Because they are "part of the process". But "part of the process" or not, they deserve to be celebrated and, by celebrating them we will remember them.
That's why today I'm celebrating the fact that I moved ONE STEP FURTHER. Yayyyy!!!!! I published my About Me Page and my Private Policy Page on my new website. After all, I have never done that before. Right now I can check these steps in my lesson and move on... NEXT!!
I think we just need to remember that everything we want to do well, is worth taking our time, be patient, take things one at the time, celebrating every little step so it means you are enjoying "the process" because in the end, when we accomplish our goal, it will be way more satisfying and we'll be way prouder of what we have accomplished.
