Am I Doing All Right?
I am questioning if I am doing all right.
When through the web I weave my fleeting name
(Michael Anthony Cicchi at roamreverie)
My craft feels lost amid a boundless sea:
(I am successful I am happy I am wealthy)
Each page I shape, yet none return the same.
(Keep reaching for traffic, still a little lonely)
Their echos fade through halls of memory.
Lets try social media, sending them posts)
The fickle search does raise and dash hope.
As fickle winds may shift the merchants' sail.
(AI Writer, Image Studio, My Hubs)
I chase each trend, as if a trembling rope.
(Jaaxy, Google, Pinterest, their needs)
Could bind the stars that flicker, then turn pale.
(Image sizes that are or not optimized)
Yet still I I labor, though the night is long.
(Image size numbers not making sense)
To plant rare seeds in ever changing ground.
(To do or not to do)
I trust that worth will outlast passing throng.
(Consistency and patience)
And honest art will be truly found.
(Are my images now optimized?)
So though I doubt, my faith is stubborn -bright.
(Site Kit, Kraken.io, RankMath)
The dawn shall judge the value of my write.
So, the question is; Are my images really optimized by Kraken.io if the resulting image size is larger than the original size?

Questioning yourself doesnât mean youâre failing. It means you care.
Your consistency and willingness to learn show real momentum, even when the results feel slow.
Hey Mac, awesome little vlog youâve got going here. Youâre definitely on the right track, buddy, no need to overthink it.
That size increase throws people off, but optimization doesnât always mean a smaller file, it means a more efficient one. If the original image was already heavily compressed or lower quality, the optimizer may rebuild it cleaner to prevent artifacting, that blocky or blurry look. When that happens, the file size can bump up a bit because the image itself is actually better.
Also remember, album-size images just have more pixels. More pixels means more data. Even when theyâre optimized properly, a higher-res image is naturally going to be larger than a smaller one.
What really matters is this:
The image dimensions match where itâs being displayed.
The browser isnât resizing it on the fly.
Your speed tools arenât flagging it as a problem.
If those boxes are checked, youâre optimized, even if the file size looks a little heavy on paper.
Hope that helps, bud.
Wow, that is great to find out. Your explanation is making me feel a lot better now, and smarter too. đ Thank you đ
MAC.

Hi MAC, your text is a great metaphor for digital creation: between doubts, trends and constancy. You remind us that authenticity and patience ultimately bring out true value. For Kraken.io, if the final size is larger, it is often because of the format or compression chosen â optimization does not always mean reducing the size, but finding the right balance between quality and weight.
