I am sure we have all played that game at some point in our lives. Where the last person to get somewhere had to do a dirty chore. Like last one the dinner table has to do dishes. It is a fun little mini race with yucky consequences.

This doesn't mean procrastinate. The opposite infact. You should be working on your website any time you can. Just don't feel like you need to rush throgh a piece just to get it done. People don't need perfection but they do need quality.
Find the balance.
Don't rush so much you skimpy on quality. However don't take so long Google and others think you have given up. Keep the content consistently good quality and at a steady pace of release. You will find your stride. It doesn't have to match someone elses.
This is not a race. It is a quality business you are building. It takes time, patience, and work.
