One Step Forward and Two Back

I feel like I'm going one step forward and two back at the moment. Full time employment is hectic and family commitments are preventing me from moving forward as quickly as I would like! I know everyone can probably say the same.

I keep telling myself that it is not a race and perhaps I should look at how much I have learned so far and not focus on what I haven't accomplished!

My website is still very much a work in progress although within the creation of it and looking back over previous notes made years ago I have come across websites and blogs that I had created and forgotten about. I wonder whether they may come in use in some way as they are well established.

I am on Level 2 Lesson 10 of 10 but I still feel very much a 'learner'.

My main goal at the moment has to be time management. I have to find a way to make available more time for my training during the busy periods of my employment. Also I know that I should be more positive and have more confidence in myself.

I have pushed myself in the past and would acknowledge that my achievements in pushing my own boundaries have been creating and running an online store for a good three years; moving out of my comfort zone and commuting and working in London for 8 years and now continuing to work for them remotely from home. Taking on a completely new role at work and undergoing the training.

I also arranged completely the relocation to Spain for 2 1/2 years and then back to the UK again - this involved buying/selling home, getting all the relevant documentation sorted and gaining residencia and then reverting back.

I coped with operations both in Spain and the UK and my fight back to fitness.

Wow - I guess I have done more than I thought.
