Apologies for not posting an update the last few days, I have been quite busy. To recap I am working my normal job which eats up about 50 hours per week, being a Dad and husband which also requires a good amount of time, working on significantly improving my health as part of the project I am mastering affiliate marketing with and also of course working through the training here at WA and building my Internet business. Oh, and yes I do still sleep- an average of 7 hours per night.

I wasted many years of my life knowing what affiliate marketing was and how it could change my life if I just put the time in. But I always let myself off the hook by convincing myself I was simply too busy and when things settled down I would get around it.

Truth be told- I am now busier than I have ever been at any point in life. Even I was not learning affiliate marketing and building an Internet business I would still be busier now than I have ever been.

This is the exact reason I finally decided to stop lying to myself about not having enough time and started to actually make time!

Once you commit to doing something and convince yourself why you need to do... in most cases it actually gets done. Think about eating, showering, spending time with loved ones, etc. These are essential things that most people would agree that they NEED to do and guess what- they get done.

What other items do you always get done? Watching TV? Reading for pleasure instead of personal growth? Vibrant social life? I am sure you can likely come up with a few others. I encourage you to make a list and then really look it over multiple times and see what activities you can cut out or dial back on to make time to work on your Internet business.

What if you did stop doing these "non-essential" things and put the time into building your Internet business? You would obviously be moving closer and closer to your goals each and every minute you spend on it. Using myself as an example- I have not been a Wealthy Affiliate member that long, in fact my second monthly payment just came off of my credit card this morning, and already I have hammered out some great content for my site.

In fact, I realized just this morning that I have published enough content to jump my WA Member Rank up to 8368!! When I started I believe I was in the high 1XX,XXX range. What is more crazy, my Creator Rank is down to 642!! That means that of all the WA members out there- likely 200,000ish? I have created more content than all of them except for 641 other individuals.

With this information in mind, what changes can you make to start moving towards your goals instead of further away from them? It really does boil down to this. Is that episode of Survivor tonight more important than hammering out some training or content and moving one day closer to realizing your dream? That is a decision that only you can make- so what's it going to be?
