I've seen it happen a few times since I've been on WA. A woman will be active on Chat, and another member will cross a line. He may reply to her and call her Honey, Baby, Beautiful, Sexy... Yes, I said sexy. Now, in some cases, the men who use these terms mean no offense. Since this is an international business, it draws people of all cultures and backgrounds. But it IS a business. Even the women are here as business women.
If I am in WA chat, I expect that business rules apply. I would not go into a meeting with my boss and tell him that he looks hot today. And I don't want to see it happen on Chat here. We may sometimes get a little off of the business topic and have personal chatter, but this is not a dating site.
So when we are in Chat, just like no cursing is a rule, don't call anyone anything that may be beyond the pale. If you wouldn't say it to your boss or your mother, it doesn't belong here. This is a business. If you are looking for a date, there are sites for that.
Please remember why you are a member of WA. And why others are too. Let's keep it professional. Friendly is okay. Flirty is not. Got it? Because I don't like seeing women leave because they aren't treated with respect.
