Thanks for your response Mark. I guess I could ask... how do you set up your niche websites in terms of structure? Do you add posts to the theme pages via a plugin or some other way. I think I'm confused. Do you add more and more content to the theme pages and separate each content piece via an H1 heading or something? I'm not getting the full picture and I apologise if I missed something.

You can easily add categories to the top menu and populate the category menus with the posts. It'll be very easy to navigate. I just don't understand how we keep adding content to the theme pages? From my understanding of wordpress you can't add posts to a page without the use of a secondary plugin. However, with categories that's no problem.

Hi - within the training, it talks about pillar pages - these are the main topics of your site.

Then your blog posts talk around those main areas, and sometimes link back to the main pages.

As you probably know, you can add categories to your blog posts too - and add as many posts as you like. On the side menu, that's where I'd have the categories listed that will help narrow down my blog posts.

My main menu would be the pillar posts/pages - that were always accessible just from clicking on the menu.

Does that help at all?

Thank you :) That makes perfect sense. The three main pillar pages could be the money pages where the affiliate links are driven from. All the other category/post pages would link back to these pages. Totally get it now :)

Since you've asked for feedback - I'll be constructive.

I think your font doesn't read well (it's not clear), and it's a little too small.

I made some changes, and you can see what I came up with on the screenshots below (mine on the left, yours on the right).

*IF* you agree - the changes are simple - go to Appearance -> Editor and edit your style.css file.

All I changed was I changed the font size to 16, and added a line-height attributeL

I also took out the font you were using, and left it to the default Arial:

I added changed the bottom of your header margin to 27px (I think it was 7px):

The last thing I did was break up your paragraph into two or three sentences - it just (imho) make it easier to read.

Other than that, I love you theme - nice bold colours, and looks like the content is off to a great start too.

Thanks again man. The changes look easier enough to implement, and I'll do it right away. I wasn't sure how to edit the changes to stylesheet, but I'm more than confident now. These were just the default settings on the theme's settings, and there was no way to preview the fonts and how they look via the theme settings, so I just picked a random one and ran with it.

Yeah it was great. A little off topic but I spent it with my best friend and went and saw Brad Pitt's new movie "Fury". We're a bit fanatical about War movies, and this one delivered. Apart from that, non-productive time was spent having a few beers (or 10) and playing Battlefield 4 on Xbox One.

I'm about to edit the stylesheet now. If I have any problems, I'll let you know. Just a question, how did you edit the stylesheet on your end? Did you use Chrome's console or do you have access to my website via WA?

Your instructions and suggestions gave me the confidence to really start messing around with the style.css file. I really dig the Georgia font - it's just a relaxing font for me. I took all of your suggestions and came up with a typography I'm pretty happy with. I also found a funky css for the blockquote section, and I edited it to fit my theme. I'm really stoked with the results. I also spaced out the content of the theme, and also spaced the lines on the h1,h2,h3 tags, etc to make it more uniform with everything else.
I think I need to add more images to the posts now, as there's quite a bit of text now without anything breaking it up, apart from the 3 line paragraph spacing you suggested (which I amended).

And also be sure to check out the custom blockquote which I'm in love with here: http://sworntosucceed.net/getting-started. I took a screenshot of the menu colors and sampled the hex color to match the blockquote border, so everything is clean.

Hi Mark, I'd like to edit the size of the text in my image captions. They're way to small, and I can't seem to find it in my style sheet?

Hi Matt - I think it looks far better now - nice job.

To change the caption text, look for this in your style sheet:

#wrapper .wp-caption p.wp-caption-text {
font-size: 11px;
line-height: 17px;
margin: 0;
padding: 0 4px;
}

...and change the font-size setting to whatever you like.

Ahhh... it was hiding in the "wordpress core" section. Awesome, now I've fixed my styling for the captions and added a subtle shadow around my images :) This is great! I think I'll leave it there. Thank you so much for all your help, Mark.
