New Opportunities and Black Friday Bonanza!

In my last blog post I was bemoaning the fact that work was getting in the way of my building out content in my blog.
That was October, and things have become increasingly hectic at work.

I have just accepted a new job offer which I will start in mid-January, getting me out of the work that I've hated for the last 2 decades and moving me in a more tech-focused direction. I'm so excited! There's going to be lots to learn but I'm more than up for this new challenge.

At 42 years of age, it feels like I'm getting a second chance to build a career - but this time in an industry that I'm passionate about.

All of this means that I'm likely to have less time to blog than before, so why did I choose to take the plunge with the Wealthy Affiliate Black Friday Premium offer?

Simply because I felt that it was good value for money and I still hope to create at least one peice of content per month, plus at least one paid article.

It doesn't matter to me if it takes 5 years to build a 200 page website, I know I'm on the right track and at some point, my website will earn me a reasonable income.

I also love hopping into this community to see how others are getting on. I enjoy the training and am often inspired by your success stories and work ethic.

Perhaps one day, as I settle into a new rhythm in my new home-based role, I'll find more time to blog.
