Learning Internet Marketing All Over Again (or so it might seem)

When I started in Internet business I was just a college student! I had dreams of having an Internet business that earned me more money before I graduated than a college graduate would have as an average starting salary.

However, this was about the time all of the furry google animals started making their appearance and some of things I'd been taught (or rather, mistakenly picked up along the way) were strategies for pre - google animals. It was interesting to see that time pass by.

It was especially interesting to see how webmasters, who had been operating at subpar standards, reacted to the updates that google made to their search algorithms.

All in all, my work ethic and my lack of persistence were the causes of my failure.

It seems like the face of Internet Marketing continues to change. However, after going through just a couple of trainings, there seems to be an eternal business truth emerging from a everything that I've learned about with Internet Marketing.

This seems to be something that is a recurring theme no matter what kind of business you are in - online or offline.

In order to get value you must provide an equivalent or greater value in return.

It is this principle that allows Kyle and Carson to say that you can be successful in any niche. The reason for this is because if you are an expert in a niche and you provide expert knowledge and provide true value every time in every post/product, then people are going to:

  • come back to you for answers
  • they're going to trust you
  • and they're going to trust your viewpoint and opinions.

You're providing them exceptional value, and they trust you in return and purchase things that you recommend.

Of course, this concept is not something new. It is a law called the law of the harvest. Gardeners and farmers everywhere know this law better than most. It goes something like this,

" As you sow, so also shall you reap."

Again, this means for me that if I want to create successful business of any kind, be it on the Internet or not, then I need to provide exceptional, high quality, highly relevant content.

I need a create such value that my readers want to engage me with questions and conversation, and also share the things that I create.

This is the challenge.

However, if you choose a niche that you already have a good level of knowledge about, then it would be easier to provide quality and relevancy in your content.

Plus, writing quality content (and this is really good news for me) is something that can be learned! Just like any other skill in my opinion -the more you do it, then the easier it becomes.

So, with these principles and mind, I start off on my Internet journey once again, seeking for financial independence. Providing quality value for quality value. Here's to good luck for all of us - that we may all succeed in our own personal ventures, online and offline!
