About MatissDzelve

I am Matiss. I live in Latvia (small country next to the Baltic Sea). I’ve always wanted to try internet-marketing, but never really immersed to actually do it. I always had this admiration towards people, who make their living online, but never was I before really sure I could do it myself.

I’ve always enjoyed communicating and interacting with other people. One could say that acquiring and learning new information is the passion of mine. I used to do all kinds of different sports (tennis, ice-hockey, football, volleyball etc.) and play guitar a lot, but these have been over-shadowed by the passion I mentioned, quality time with my family, the ever growing overtime work hours and the green & healthy lifestyle that I'm trying to incorporate in my everyday life.

I live my life by philosophy of "There is an opportunity in every adversity. Not seeing the good in that adversity means that you're not seeing the full picture", which at times is very difficult. But it definitely helps to appreciate the little stuff that most times aren't that "little".

Above all, nothing makes me happier than seeing other people being happy. I always try to benefit other people wherever I truly can, which also means withdrawing myself from trying to provide guidance in areas I know of poorly or don’t know at all.

Hello Matiss!

How very nice to get to know you a bit better. I'm very happy to be connected with you now!

Really like your attitude - helping and making people happy, living a healthy lifestyle. Your philosophy is great. You are bound to have a healthy and successful life.

I read your answer below about your green and healthy lifestyle. That's exactly what I'm striving for too, to live as healthy as possible. Well I haven't totally quit eating sugar, gluten and dairy but I do avoid eating too much of these products. I also avoid eating red meat. Above all we must avoid processed food, like you say. If we all would follow these simple rules, we would have less diseases and in general a healthier world.

Looking forward networking with you!

Hey, Pernilla!

I'm really happy to be connected with you too, it's very, very nice to find like-minded people.

Well, the thing with sugar is that it's like the first week that is really (and I mean really) hard to overcome. Because, if you are used to it (which I was – there was a time in my life, when I used eat chocolate everyday, no exception), it's quite hard to quit as you will feel constantly the urge to eat something sugary.
However, there is a way that I feel can help to overcome this, and which helped me immensely.

The idea is to replace the processed sugar you would get from your processed foods with the natural type of sugar. Basically, arm yourself with some very sugary fruits like dates, persimmon, grapes (prefer red ones over any other) and also any other fruit that eases the urge to have a processed sugar snack! Or, if you simply have the urge for a snack (not necessarily a sugary one), have some nuts instead. Works like a charm.
All in all there is a huge difference of how the body deals with natural sugars and the processed ones. Although, it is also considered slightly bad to consume lots of sugary fruits, the nature of natural sugars will help you to get off the processed ones!
Eventually and ideally they say you would also want to consume less of very sugary fruits, but I do feel like as long as you're not having way too many at once, it's totally fine to not limit yourself. Knowing what is too much will be indicated by your body. You'll feel it.

Also it really helps to know, why are you not eating sugar. Always know your why. It's like the best motivating factor to stick with. I do actually have some paragraphs of why shouldn't one consume sugar on my website with references, I could PM you those, if you would like that. :)

I remember the first time, I was off processed sugar. For a month that was I believe. And then I tried some, I can't remember, it probably was an ice-cream. And I do remember the feel that it's not tasty. At all. It's just sweet. However, at that point not something I would associate with tasty.

Gluten and dairy is, however, very different because the people around us are very dependent on those (not like they are not typically dependent on sugar, but sugar is more snack related). So, it's quite hard to quit just because the people around you are holding you back. But once you do feel that benefit, you'll find a way.

By the way, this is also how I've lost a ton of weigh unintentionally (this maybe is also helpful for your website). It just happens naturally when one does eliminate the bad stuff from the diet.

I really strive for a successful life! I hope you too have one! <3
Looking forward to networking with you too!

Cheers!

Thank you Matiss for your very long and helpful message!

I did have 10 sugarfree days in a row in November and afterwards I felt much better. Then the Christmas Season came and I couldn't resist totally from the traditional food and sweets. Now I'm back on track again and do avoid sweets during the weeks. But I always have to watch out - not getting tempted :-)

That's exactly the idea I have myself: to replace "bad" food with healthy food step by step. Youv'e got some great tips, I see. Fruits are indeed a better choice than processed sweets and any sugary desserts and snacks. Nuts are an excellent and healthy snack, you are so right. I "discovered" that for several years ago and eat nuts every day since then.

It would be terrific if you'd like to share the paragraphs about why sugar is so unhealthy.

I'm so happy for you that you have found the path to a lighter weight and a healthy life. You are a great role model. You are absolutely successful already!

Have a great day!

Hey, Pernilla!

I'm happy you found it helpful. :)
And yeah, I can totally relate to that – it is all about the temptation, haha!

I'll probably just gonna PM you the links and book chapters I have on articles about sugar. As my website is not quite working for you, additionally I will send you the conclusions I made based on those sources.

And thank you for the kind words! :)

Have an awesome day you too!

Hey, Amanda!

My green and healthy lifestyle on the most part resolve around being very conscious about what I eat and how I live.

Never do I eat anything without inspecting the label of a product first. Nonetheless, at the store by far most of the time I get only vegetables and fruits.

I do cut out processed foods entirely (it's actually surprising how much bad stuff they put in sandwiches and other seemingly simple everyday foods). I recently also have decided to cut out grains entirely as they barely provide you with any nutrients.
Also recent studies suggest that grains are mere space-holders in our diets, meaning you do not need to consume them to be healthy. In fact, exactly the opposite – it is easier to be healthy by simply not consuming them. However, one definite exception to this for me is sushi.

Eating little to no gluten products is an everyday thing for me. Very rarely do I also eat anything related to dairy products.
There pretty much are only two exceptions for this: pizza and gingerbreads.

Other than gingerbreads, I also don't consume sugar. There is, however, a whole list of things I avoid to consume.
These just are the big three: gluten, dairy products, sugar.

Lifestyle wise, I'm not over the top like some people, who, for example, neglect vaccines. I do think that is a very not smart thing to do, to put it lightly.
I do try to exercise regularly, "rest and slow down" regularly. Don't over-complicate things or stress out about stuff.

Thank you for the best wishes! I wish you all the best as well!
Cheers!

Hi Matiss,
Thank you for explaining how lead a green and healthy lifestyle. I agree with what you say about processed foods, I rarely eat the. Also, dairy which I quit about a year ago, and I don’t eat meat either (although this is not for health reasons, I believe that it more healthy not to eat meat).
As for sugar and gluten.... I would be struggling a bit there! I love pasta for example!
I would love to adopt your ‘don’t stress about stuff’ philosophy, I try, but that is Hard!
Anyhow, have a peaceful and stress free evening!
Best wishes

Hey, Amanda!

Oh, man, I used to love pasta too! With loads of cheese (way too much cheese, haha).

Well, from what I know, I can partly relate to not eating meat being healthy. To be exact, eating too much meat, is not good for you (and eating pork is never good – that I quit long time ago).
Nonetheless, I hope you do eat fish then and consume loads of pistachios or other great Iron source products. :)

Yeah, not stressing about stuff, is something I struggle with too. It is indeed hard, no doubt about it.

Have a Great Day, Amanda!
Cheers!

Hi Matiss, have you tried buckwheat pasta? I had it the other day and it was really tasty ( I wouldn’t have known the difference)
Nope, no fish. I have no worries about iron, although I take a supplement for b12.
Anyhow, you too have an awesome day and think about giving up meat!
Best wishes

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

Oh, man!! I really appreciate you taking your time and reaching out to me! :)

At first I was kinda scared about what could be a niche of mine.
But now, I think I got one that's going to stick for now! I mean it's a kind of niche that I'm extremely passionate about. Like to the EXTREME! I spent like a whole week researching it locally before joining WA, without really ever considering that it could be my niche some day.

Initially and yet still I have 3 more niches I would be excited to explore. But I'm sure that I'm going to explore those a little bit more down the road (if for some unknown reason I fail the one I chose for now, haha).

I'll PM you on specifics later in the day, see what you think. I'm really excited! :)
Have a great one!

Focus on just ONE website and create success with that before diversifying and creating multiple niche websites.

It only takes ONE website in one niche to be very successful online. I usually find that folks that try to do too much at once (focus on several niche websites) end up in a state of mediocrity because it can be overwhelming and you don't really ever become the expert in just one niche.

It is the experts (specialists) that create long term, successful businesses in any niche.

I look forward to hearing from you Matiss! :) Chat soon!
