Close to getting my first article published!

I had submitted an article in EzineArticles.com last week and completely forgot about it until I got an email today saying that they would like to help me get it published but my affiliate link is not a direct link and to edit the link. Well, lucky for me, I do have my own domain name, but unfortunately I do not have anything built on the site yet! I have 48 hours to get something up and I don't even remember how to FTP. But that's OK. I have a friend who is going to help me. I'm so excited! So hopefully my next blog will be an announcement about getting my first article published. That would be so awesome!!!

In other news, I was so bored the other night when I played goalie. The guys that showed up for the drop-in were very talented and I got beat most of the time. That wasn't the bad part, though. The bad part was that because the players were so talented, I did not see a lot of shots, esp. not for a drop-in when the goalie usually gets pelted with pucks. The whole time I was in net I was thinking about that post game beer that was waiting for me at the bar!

Things are going well for me all around. I still have my date tomorrow night. Actually, though, I cheated and already saw him Sunday after hockey. I am really liking this guy. Not only does he play hockey, but he is a fireman of all things. How awesome is that?! And he is very tech savvy!
