Three Weeks in and my Head is Spinning!
Well, I've been at this 3 weeks now, and I must say I'm quite proud of my website. I just got the affiliate links entered yesterday, but was having some challenges understanding the Genius Links. I think I've finally got them set up properly. It doesn't show that I have any earnings yet, but I have had clicks - YAY! (I don't think they're all mine - I was testing!)
I've had blogs in the past, but with this training I think I am doing much better at getting posts written and figuring out what to write. Starting with the keywords first has been a great boost to my productivity.
I am struggling a bit with the affiliate networks. I understand Amazon and iTunes, but a lot of the stuff on the affiliate networks, I have NO idea what they are talking about. As such, I haven't joined any networks yet. Thought I'd get my feet wet with something I understand first. I do have a few niche products in mind as well and will be working on those over the next few weeks.
My head is spinning because there is so much I want to do with my site and I have another site I want to build. Lots of work to do. And I struggle with the fact that my hubby "thinks" I'm retired, and wants me to go here, there, and everywhere with him. Trying to balance it all out, because after all, family is what's really important. But I'm just so excited with all the ideas spinning around in my head. I'm hoping when I get my first sale and revenue check that he will realize I'm not just goofing around on the computer all day.
