When life gets in the way.
I'm starting to find that life is getting in the way. Now that we're back to normality after Christmas and new year the time I had to work on my business quickly evaporated.
I was also finding that with new real structure or system in place I am just overwhelmed with trying to keep up with G+, giving feedback, comments, writing, editing .......
The list is endless.
But don't feel bad for my first world problems, I am currently working on systems ingredients my week. What I will be doing, when and for how long.
Once I have done it is will post it to see if it helps others.
In the meantime I'd be interested in how you systemise or keep productivity high. Please comment below with any tips or tricks you have, especially if you are doing this alongside a full time job as I am.
It may be beneficial to look at outsourcing some of the jobs I am struggling with.....

I am 100% familiar with your problem. As a student doing full time research there is not a single moment in the week that goed by without having my work in my head.
I also found it very difficult to keep on track after the holidays (when I strated) but I just keep on reading success stories from others and I realize that the process might be a bit slower than expected, but I am still confident to succeed myself as well.
I have certain goal in my mind, and everyday I walk into my office I remember this dream by all the posters and previous work I did hanging everywhere around me. That's what keep me going (plus the positive support overwhere on WA) :)

Thank you for your reply. I agree that goals are key and I saw a video of Denzel Washington speaking to some aspiring actors and he said that 'Goals, without actions are dreams.'
I wish you all the best in your online pursuits. Have you got any systems in place as to when or where you work and what kind of work you do. For example do you do your creative stuff in the morning and less important administration when your not as fresh?
