South Africa My Home
In order to practice I am writing a post on my home country South Africa.
From 1488 to the present day, South Africa has been a land of Beauty and Controversy. It is a land of vast diversity, from Desert to lush pastures, from Wild Life to modern vibrant cities, from mountains to arid flat lands, and everything in between. It is a land occupied by many cultures, from European Colonialism, African tribalism and Eastern mysticism all getting on in a manner that only our famous politician, Nelson Mandela, could foresee.
South Africa is famous, or Notorious, for a few things: Mineral Wealth, Wild life and Apartheid to name a few. Apartheid has seen its last days, and although racialism is still evident here, South Africa has learned a lot in accepting other races, and can, I think, teach the world a bit.
Like any Country on earth, we have problems unique to us. Any new democracy has corrupt politicians and businessmen to deal with, and we have had more than our fair share of both. The result is that at present we do not produce enough power to serve our needs, resulting in power being switched off for hours at a time, sometimes 3 times a day. Progress is on its way, though, and we learn from each experience.
Building a business through WA, is much the same, as it is vital that we move forward, learning from the present and past, and moving forward with confidence that past mistakes are only part of the university of life.

Tim, thank you for the introduction to South Africa. I've not been there but it is on my shopping list. From an Australian congratulations on winning the rugby World Cup.
Have a great day.
Stephen.
Thank you for your kind words.
We obviously have a few issues, Rugby and Cricket being among them, but at least we beat the Poms
Hi Tim. It is so heartwarming to read about our beautiful country. So much appreciated. Proud to be a South African.
It is a fantastic country. Like all, it does have its faults, but all in all
it is the best place to live!
Where bare you from, I live in The Wilderness, near George in Western Cape
Hi Tim,
I am staying close to Mpumalanga, Delmas area, not so nice, but tolerate it at the moment, thinking of moving to the Free State, farm close to Kroonstad. I am so happy I do have real contact now with other South Africans.
I hope to chat more with you in the future.
Lovely day to you
