The Importance of Being Honest
Did you ever have a gut feeling that someone wasn't being honest with you and just ignored it because you're a nice person or you don't trust your own instincts?
I have, many times. I have fallen for things that people have said to me just believing people don't have a reason to lie. Like, oh I'm the nicest guy in the world. Or I'm your friend, I'll help you....and many more.
Same with all the scams people (yep, including me) fall for online. The scammer says what they think you want to hear...and you really want to believe that they mean what they say.
Next thing you know.....
You've been SCAMMED!
Well, I am not going to let dishonest people (in real life) or scammers (online) get the best of me anymore.
It's extremely important to develop trust in all areas of your life whether it's personal or business. If you break that trust you risk losing friendships and business.
So if you are a scammer and get your business by being dishonest, then your business won't last for the long term.
"Honesty is the best policy" is a great quote to always remember whether it's your business life or your personal life.
You will eventually reap the rewards if you choose to be honest.

Hi you wrote a great blog, yes honest is the very good thing to do, but people take advance of you and scam you like you are stupid. Happen to me many times, so I told myself, very don't trust people any more until I see it happen is true
Lori, I think as women we are trained to be nice. . . . or at least we were. . . . not hurt anybody's feelings, etc. So we don't trust that inner voice. But without trust, you have nothing. It's taken me many years now, but I listen to that voice. Great post!
