Educated? To What Degree

I am an educator by profession. I hear a few of my associates proclaim that an uneducated person is dangerous or when someone does something illogical or stupid to that person; they will excuse them because they say they are "uneducated".
I feel "uneducated" here. I am trying to attain education and there are so many wonderful people here to assist me that I feel like I cannot ask a dumb question because I don't know the answer (before I ask).
Labeling anyone just because they don't know what you think they should know is somewhat illogical because if you continue to learn about that person you will find out they WILL know stuff that you don't know (even if it is how to hot wire a car or make counterfeit money or credit cards). It really takes smarts to know how to do those things.

So at the very least they are educated in other interests that may not appeal to the majority. But we cannot deny that they are educated and sometimes some of it may come in handy.
I remember someone took an old truck that belonged to me and left it in another town without the keys. A police officer came and I asked him could he help me start my truck. I had to prove to him that it was mine. I told him that I didn't have keys. He said, "I think I can start it; I have never done this before but I have seen it done". He went underneath the steering wheel had some wires that weren't there before and then the truck started. He said I didn't have to worry about it stopping before I reached my destination. I don't know why this story came to mind except to note that this officer had all points covered and I was grateful that he shared his street knowledge with me so that I did not have to call a wrecker/tow truck to move a perfectly(well not perfect) good vehicle home.
We are all educated in something and uneducated in more than we are educated in. We have a niche/forte in our everyday life that doesn't always pertain to technology.
The moral of this story is never look down or think less on another because they don't know what you know because there are lots of things they know that you don't know also.
I do enjoy reading the comments, so if you would please give feedback and a like. I am forever grateful and a little more educated because of you.
Thank you and enjoy your time.
