Ranked under 10k
I just hit rank 9661 and it seems that I did it listlessly. This is only my second post on WA and yet I've been aquiring higher rankings like it's nothing. The main reason for this I think is because I ask a lot of questions about things that I need help with, something everybody should be doing anyways.
It's not as if this happened overnight. I've been with wealthy affiliate for over a year now, but I took a tremendous break. After I reastablished myself here at WA my ranking started shooting up again and, if I am honest, it feels pretty good.
At first I was pretty shy and timid to even ask questions, but with the kind respectiveness of the WA community, and my growing confidence in myself and my writing abilities, I now feel very comfortable to share my thoughts with all of you in this post and in future posts as well.
I began writing this post with the objective of asking what I can get out of this ranking, and how it can help with my finantial growth and future accomplishments, but I believe I awnsered this question in the process. To me, creating these posts and asking questions, as well as increasing your rankings, shouldn't be primarily about personal gains, but of the gains of the peers that you are writing to. To instil motivation and insight, and to help others in acheiving success, is far more important than personal gains. The rankings to me is just a way of saying that you are making a difference. That, in a way, you are not only impacting your own life, but others as well.
To give, rather than to receive. And in giving, you will receive a proudness and insightfulness in yourself. To give is to receive, and to receive is to give.

Hi Markus, I hope your online journey is going well after taking that break.
I think that WA is way more than learning to create that first website, the learning that we are exposed to is very subtle, the personal growth can be the thing that actually makes all the difference in our online journeys at the end of the day.
The key to that can be learning, engaging and offering support to our fellow travelers not only here but also on our travels in the wider internet communities.
