Why I have subscribed to Jaxxy - confession of a newbie
Currently, I'm doing a content upgrade on an old blog of mine. This includes retro-fitting it for SEO optimization. So I've been entering a key phrase into th appropriate box and making sure that all the green lights come on (I'm using Yoast SEO tool).
Newbie Mistake
But you not what? The key phrases that I am using are ones that I thought was most appropriate. Not necessarily what people are searching for. (I think that this is a classic newbie mistake.)
Being Smart
So, I decided to take the plunge and pay $19 per month for a Jaxxy subscription.
Now I want to find out what the key phrases people are really using, so that when they use them, my post will be right in their face. Then they will read it, and feel compelled to click on all my affiliate links, buy everything, and make me rich!!! (that's the dream, anyway. )

I think we've all been at the newbie stage at some point, Mark. Sounds as though you making good progress though! Best.
Thanks Mac. I've watched kyle's video training (at least up until the end of Course 2) and was starting to understand how to use keyword research, but was thinking only in terms of new posts.
For my existing posts, I was just taking an educated guess ("oh - this is what this post is about, I'll just use that as the keyword"), WRONG!!
