Just do it.

When I first started my blog, I had no idea what I was doing... let alone any sort of master plan to turn my blog into an income-generating business one day. In fact, I was actually extremely nervous.

Hitting publish on my first blog post, despite having no readers, was incredibly difficult.

In the back of my mind, I was thinking... "I'm 24 years old, what business do I have giving advice online? What are all of my friends going to think when they read this? Holy crap, what will my MOM think?!"

I forced myself to hit publish on my first post.

It was just a few paragraphs exploring why I believe that life's greatest risk is to not risk at all.

The moment I published that post, a wave of excitement washed over me. I took a giant step toward conquering my fears.

But do you have any idea how long it took me to write that first post?

Almost 7 days.

Yep. It took me a week to write about 700 words.

That's the funny thing about first steps. They're the slowest. The scariest. The least confident.

When you're learning to walk, you make it 2 small steps forward, only to fall down. But you get right back up. You keep trying and trying until you're eventually able to stand and walk all by yourself with confidence.

Publishing my first blog post gave me the confidence I could actually write (regardless of how long it took me to get there). And looking back from where I am today, that confidence was priceless.

Think about where you want to be in 6 months or a year from now...

Really, I want you to take a few seconds to truly imagine it.

Answer these questions:

  • Will you still be working the same job? Are you happy? Fulfilled?
  • Where are you? Are you in the same city? Traveling?
  • What occupies your time throughout the day?
  • How do you feel? Are you excited to wake up every morning?

If the answers to any of these questions aren't your reality today, then something needs to change...

Because if you do nothing to change your state, you'll be sitting right here doing the same thing—feeling the same way in 6 months or a year from now.

Starting a blog can be the vehicle for the change you want to create.

To be clear though, it's not going to make you a millionaire overnight. Hardly.

Here's what a blog can do though... a blog can lay the foundation for changing everything in your life, and I know this from personal experience.

For now though, you can't worry about how your blog will make money in the future. That's putting the cart way before the horse. And in this course I'll show you the eight most effective ways to quickly monetize your blog so that it's generating a meaningful income.

But for now...

Step #1 is getting your blog online.

Because if you don't start with actually launching your blog and getting it live today, no amount of "planning" and "preparation" in the world will compare to the lessons you'll learn and the benefits you'll experience by launching right now. If not today, then when?

You decided something has to change, right?

And I know... the thing about change is that it can be difficult. Which is why we're starting small.

Today's objective is to do just one simple thing... get your blog online.

Even if you're not 100% sure what to blog about, don't worry about that today.

First and foremost... don't waste time deciding what the name of your blog should be. Your goal right now is to take this first step.

Pick any name that's somewhat related to what you want to blog about (you can always change the domain one day in the future).

What's important today, is that you launch your blog.

Now, let's get this party going
