Happy FDOS to half the world anyway!

FDOS?? First Day Of Spring to all those of us living in the southern hemisphere. RickBell57 wrote a blog talking about weeds and flowers in our garden of thoughts. This has prompted me to write what flowers are growing in MY mind right now. OK so first lets get rid of a few weeds. I just spent 3 days in bed with Bronchitis bordering on Pneumonia. After 3 courses of antibiotics, today, I am feeling more like my old (very old) self. While lying in bed I kept thinking about the mountain of emails [thats a weed] I was getting (could hear the iPad binging away all night). I was wondering if I was going to be able to get through them all [another weed] and WHEN would I have time [yet another weed] to get on with my business.

I opened my curtains to brilliant sunshine. Looked out and saw my garden in blossom and thought that I must make time to have a walk around and see what is growing. [thought flower]. The fruit tree I planted in April (cannot even remember what fruit it is and the label has blown off) has leaves and blossom on it (thought flower). The camellia bushes have even dropped some flowers already [weed] (must have been defective) but there are many more to replace them [flower]. The grass has already started to grow (mixture of ACTUAL weeds and grass) and will probably need mowing in the next few days (thought weed).

So, the sun is shining and there is not a cloud in the sky. Temp forecast for about 16 but feels much warmer already. I am feeling better and ready to sit down and get on with some WA work. (already started). My family has telephoned me to see how I am. My wife called me (currently upstate grandchildren sitting) and cheered me up some more. Read quite a few blogs which gave me another great pick-up. (Thanks guys). the day is looking good for another set of tuition with WA and a review of the pod-cast from last Friday. (A whole bouquet of flowers).

We can all have negative thoughts or weeds but somewhere around us there are plenty of positive ones or flowers. Like in my garden I want to pull the weeds out and help the flowers blossom. Look around you now and pick a few flowers (they really are there, look UNDER the weeds). The weeds won't seem so big.
