Well I've officially started and got a few pages up:
-about me
-getting started
-and a post
-completed basic menu structure
I also created a logo and made an attempt to brand things a bit.

I reviewed your website. At first glance it looks good. It catches my eye. When reading your content I would eliminate the double spacing between sentences. It makes for rough reading and cannot determine the start of a new paragraph.
Second, do not forget to add the following pages to your website:
1. Privacy Policy
2. Contact Us
3. About Us
I know your site on the other menu items will come later. If you are going to add images, and I would do so, make sure that they appear on the right side of the page.
Other than that, you are well on your way to your first successful website and becoming a great online marketer.
