Finally… It All Makes Sense Now
For a while now, I’ve been wrestling with something that most people trying to build online don’t talk about much...
That quiet conflict between what you think you should be doing and what God’s actually calling you to do.
When I first started building Dad Freedom Hustle (which is my biz opp brand), I wanted to help people create income online and find freedom for their families. That vision is still alive and well but I’ll be honest, somewhere along the way, it started to feel… off.
Every time I tried to blend my faith message with a business opportunity, something inside me resisted.
I’d write a post about God, about grace, about freedom and then tack on a “by the way, if you want to learn how to make money online, here’s my link.”
And every time I did that, it felt forced.
It wasn’t wrong… it just wasn’t me..
Over time, I realized something powerful:
You can’t build freedom if it costs you authenticity.
That’s when I made the decision to separate my missions:
👉 The Gospel Compass would be my faith platform, where I share the message of grace, identity, and freedom in Christ without mixing it with anything else.
👉 Dad Freedom Hustle would become my personal journey the process of actually walking that message out in real life as a husband, dad, and entrepreneur trying to build something that lasts.
And once I made that shift… the peace that came with it was undeniable.
Then recently, I stumbled onto something that finally connected all the dots for me, a platform called Wealthy Affiliate. (Love you guys)
Unlike so many “make money online” platforms that tell you to push one specific opportunity, WA gives you the tools, training, and community to build around what you’re passionate about.
For me, that changed everything.
Because it meant I could build income around The Gospel Compass.
It meant I could grow Dad Freedom Hustle as a true blog about this journey and still have a business that’s aligned with my heart.
No more pretending.
No more mixing messages.
No more sacrificing peace for performance.
Now it all makes sense:
I was never supposed to chase an opportunity.
I was supposed to build something real, something rooted in what God actually called me to do.
That’s what Wealthy Affiliate is helping me do now.
Take the passions God already gave me and learn how to grow them into something that can bless others and support my family.
And honestly, it just feels right.
So here’s where I’m at:
The Gospel Compass will continue to be my space for faith, freedom, and truth.
Dad Freedom Hustle will be where I document the process, the late nights, the lessons, the growth, the mess, and the miracles.
And behind it all, I’ll be learning and growing through the Wealthy Affiliate, and how to monetize and teach others how to as well, any passion they have.
Because when you’re aligned with your calling, even your marketing starts to feel like ministry. 🙏
I look forward to growing my christian brand, and maybe even being an awesome advocate and affiliate for WA ❤️
