Lack of Motivation and How to Stay Motivated
Lack of Motivation
I have read many other members post that at some point we all start feeling down, defeated and lacking of motivation at this, but I always thought that it will never will happen for me.
And here we are, it did happen to me too. I think the main reason was that I have holiday and once I came back from it, I had some family issues, so I wasn’t be able to work on WA for 1.5 month.
I have fewer problems at home now and from this week I’m trying to get back to it, because I understand that this business needs constant hard work and dedication, but it seems so heard to write after that break and come up with new ideas and keywords.
What Happened When I Wasn’t Working on My Site?
So what happened while I wasn’t working on my site? First of all my post rankings dropped. My wealthy affiliate review was ranking on the second pages of the Google and First page on Bing and Yahoo and it dropped to 6 pages of Google and Second pages of Bing and Yahoo. Also, few other posts rankings dropped in search engines.
Second, my WA ranking dropped from 500 to 5000.
And third my traffic dropped at least three times.
Why This Happened?
I think all this happened because my site is fairly new, just about 6 months old, and I didn’t had that many posts or traffic there.
I think that new sites without adding new content constantly has a lot bigger negative impact that older sites with many posts and lots of organic traffic.
So people like me, having new sites have to work on their sites even harder and post content frequently, otherwise it is very easy to lose the hang of it.
How to Stay Motivated?
Guys did you had lack of motivation like I did in the past and how did you fight that to become successful. Please share your experiences, I think it will be very interesting, especially for people who have lack of motivation or are new here.
And remember never give up and even if you step few steps back, always come back even stronger and more motivated if you want to be successful in online business.
Wish you all the best,
Marius

I totally get you! I'm in a low phase of productivity right now and I find it hard to come back on the right track.
After my day job is over today, I planned on preparing my next days/weeks to know where to go and what to do, I think it will help me to find back my motivation.
We must not give up!
I guess most of us have ups and downs, especially if we having issues at work or personal life, but if we want to be successful we must never give up and come back stronger!
I'm glad certain things are better. :) I don't have any input on the discouragement. I'm not there yet. Although I'm starting to get impatient with Google! lol. I do wish you well and know if you stick with it, you'll get back to where you were in no time.

I do the right things to start off - I use a daily planner, make my schedule for writing and research - but then something will come up unexpectedly and throw my schedule off and I end up beating myself up because I fell behind.
I realistically understand that this is going to take a lot of hard work and discipline to begin with - but falling behind really gets to me and it's easy to throw in the towel and give up.
The only thing that I can do is just to take a deep breath, and pick up where I left off, even if it's a small step. It takes a little while- - but slowly, the motivation comes back to me.
Thanks for the post!
Thank you for the advice Isaiah, I think, that's what I have to do right now, take a deep breath and start moving forward step by step, to get back where I was and once I there try to get better than I was before.
