Self Discovery is Top Priority
Did you know the most important thing in life is to be totally single? Many of us do not believe that. Singleness is the foundation of all relationships. That includes you and your boss student and teachers, married relationships. Singleness begins with each of us. If you find that you are not getting along with people, most of the time it is saying that you have a problem with being single. Singleness determines the quality of our relationships.
Intra- self relationship is First
The most important relationship in life is not interpersonal relationship, but intra-relationship. We must first know the truth about ourselves. What is it that we want to see in ourselves? Do we know who we are?
Know Your Strengths and Weaknesses: Work On Your Weaknesses
You must know your strengths and weaknesses. I think most of us deny our weaknesses. The most important person for you to love is yourself. We must love ourselves. We often talk about loving others; and that is important because the Bible encourages us to love everyone including our enemies.Are we loving people and not loving ourselves? Love your neighbour as you love yourselves. You can only love people if you love yourself.
Self Love Is First: Embrace It
We often, keep trying to love people before loving ourselves.We can only love people to the degree we love ourselves. If we do not love ourselves we will depend on people to love us.It is so important to love ourselves. Many times we look for love from people and they let us down. This can cause a really sad effect on our emotional equilibrium.
Know Your Worth And Embrace it!
You cannot give yourself worth if you do not know who your value.
Self love is estimating your worth, selling themselves cheap, by submitting to violence, abuse.Understanding your worth puts value on your self esteem.
How you picture yourself is important. We often move towards what people think of us. Traditions can have a great impact because most of them give you only a low self esteem. Refine your gifts and talents that God has given you and serve it to the world.
So the secret to embracing your singleness is to place value on yourself. I encourage you today to love yourself first and then you can love others

Excellent post Marilyn, I have always said you cannot help others until you have helped yourself, meaning you can not share what you don't have. I truly enjoyed this WA post, I hope other members read it and really think about it.
