I feel little stuck.
this is my first blog post here at WA and I just wanted to share what is my progress by far.
I am a premium member for about 8 months now. I have created my website ( I have understood that putting the the link here is spamming, so I won,t do that, even if many people does...after all you can find my website under my profile), about eliminating back pain and I am proud of it :)
I am moving forward quite slowly, because I have little baby boy who won't let me stay at the computer even a second, so I use computer only when he is at the kindergarten.
At the begin I used images from google search, but learned afterwards that it's better not to, and now I need to change almost all the images on my site... that takes lot of time and that's why I haven't gone thru any training lately:/
I really want to make this work and earn thru my website while helping people. I am just concerned, because I am not getting much traffic. I am also slow writing articles, so I publish new post every two weeks or more and to compensate that I try to have lot of comments on my site.
What do you think I should do to get on the right track again? There are so many things I should be doing (like writing content, getting comments, change images, add banners, and amazon or other products, do training and then there is the facebook aspect to get traffic...it takes awful lot time to make and keep friends and publish interesting content!!)
It's like, there is so much to do and not enough time, that I get stuck and can't do nothing...
Can you please give me some kind of help!?

I understand you and have the same issue. I have little twins and work a full-time job so it is not easy to dedicate time for my sites.
Adding content is very important and I try to add it at least bi-weekly but weekly is better. I wish you much success with your site.
I understand. I wish I had all day to dedicate to my website but it is not possible. I think focusing on new posts is more important than comments. I have seen an authority website from a member who is ranking well despite of having very few comments on their articles. But he has many many articles... I was doing 1 Article per week, but I decided to challenge myself and made a schedule. I am now able to write 2 because of that.. It helps me keep on track.
You have to keep strong. I hope that helps
All the best
There is a lot to be said about posting frequency. You need to add new content every week. That doesn't mean it has to be an article.
You can post videos too.
It's a lot of work in the beginning. You are building your business, and that doesn't happen overnight. Just stick to the training and start posting more frequently. I always post on Sundays and try to post on at least one other day too. Once you get in the habit It's easy:)
Thank you for the tip, Nicki! In fact, I am writing a post now that I keep quite short but add images with a short text about the argument too.
About posting videos, do they need to be my own videos or can I use others too? Because in that case it is not going to be unique content.

Maria,
Many of us have struggled with the same sort of challenges. Here would be my recommendation...
First, take a breath. You sound a bit overwhelmed and stressed out. Try and relax and remember that this website thing is not a race. You have a busy life and that's okay; just do what you can do.
Next, to get back on track, I would recommend that you start over. No, I don't mean delete your site or anything, but to simply click on the Get Started Here button and begin the main course again. And start over at day one. Of course, you've made at least some progress since you already have a site, so just review those parts and move on. But it is important that you see if you missed anything and to get re-inspired as to why you started all this in the first place. Kyle is quite the motivator.
Also, I suggest you take a look a a post I wrote. In perhaps a bit of fate, I published it right before I read your message, so maybe it will help. You can find it here: Time Management is a Myth And, finally--more than anything else--please stay in touch with the WA community. Everyone here is on the same journey as you, and I promise if you stay connected and reach out whenever you have a problem, there will be SOMEONE here that can help. As I said, many of us have faced the exact same thing and are more than willing to offer suggestions.
Good luck, and if there is ever anything I or anyone else can ever do for you please don't be afraid to ask. We're all just a mouse-click away. :-)
James
Thank you for the great reply, James!
I did read your time management post, I am impressed how much can you get done... and your advice is also valid. My problem is ( when I have overcome confusion and start to take action...) that there is always someone who interrupts what I am doing and if it's not someone around me (my baby, husband mother in law...) it's some email o some other thing on the computer that distracts me... I am amazed how little I get done now when I don't even work...Anyway I am going to put my what to do's in order and make some peace in my head :)
You are right, I am quite overwhelmed. I am also stressed because we are both (my husband and me) without a job and it's getting harder and harder to keep on going, so I really would like to accomplish more and be able to earn even some money in order to pay the bills. But being stressed doesn't really help so I need to stop doing it...
You are probably right advising me to start all over again, in fact, I don't even remember what point I was.
It's great to know that there is always someone ready to help here!! Thank you very much and take care!!
Maria
