Pinterest Pins Annotated keywords Updated
Hello WA,
I noticed that something has changed on Pinterest when searching for pin ideas, and I wanted to share it with you.
As @Jay taught us, I use “site:pinterest.com/ideas {your_keyword}” to investigate interest and then create pins.
What I just noticed is that the search results still show a list of pins, but when you open any of them, the annotated keywords are gone and only the pin title appears. I’m not sure if this is a new update or something specific to the EU market.
What I did was click the “…” under the pin image, and a popup appeared with three options. I’m attaching a screenshot.
If you select "Find more about this pin", voila, the annotated keywords are there.

If you use PinClicks, there is no issue there.
I hope this will help you navigate around this issue.
Best,
Maria

Hi Maria,
Took me a moment to understand what you are saying here, but now I get it.
You are referring to the individual pins and not the ideas pages.
Yes, when looking at an individual pin when in incognito mode, and click on the 3 dots, you will see the list of annotated keyword which Pinterest calls 'Related Interests'
This makes it much easier to see the list!
Thanks for sharing!
Hi Jay,
Sorry for my euphoria :) Everything was clear in my mind, but what I ended up writing was something else :)
I do always work in incognito mode, but I noticed this change today.
And you're welcome.
I tried to findout about the related keywords in my pin. I tried both on my board as well as in incognito and I did't see any option when I click the three dots button on my pin. I will try again later.
Paul.
But the three dots are not on your pin. When you open the search results, each pin has a title and the three dots. See the attached screenshot.
