Changing your Name Server in Wordpress
Hi,
I just signed up today for Wealth Affiliate after a few years of online searching for an authentic programme and community. I am passionate about marketing and have spent close to three years in the field. More on that in another post.
For those who build websites or register blogs with wordpress.com, here is a simple way to redirect the name servers (Please note that this will take between 24 to 72 hours to update):
Step 1:
Go to this help link on worpress.com support site
Step 2:
Follow instructions. You will be asked to click on “My Domains” link. Also explained below.
Step 3:
Click on the “Edit” button in grey
Step 4:
On your left click on the black button dubbed “Name Servers”
Step 5:
Don't forget to Click on “Save Changes” blue button
Note: This can only work for registered domains without the added “worpress.com” appended to them. If you have not yet registered a personal domain the grey “Edit” button will not appear. See example below.
Transferring a domain from a wordpress site is a different process.
