Beautiful way to start the day

It's early morning, so still dark. It rained most of the night, which is unusual here in central Florida. We usually get late afternoon or early evening thunderstorms when the Atlantic seabreeze meets the gulf seabreeze. So, I'm not writing this blog to talk about our storms....I want to talk about the beauty of an early morning "night sky". I just took my dogs out for their morning constitutions. While waiting, I turned off the flashlight and raised my face to the sky. The clouds were clearing out, and it was as if the rain scrubbed the sky clean. The moon is just coming off the full moon stage, and the brightness of it overpowers the lights from the surrounding stars. The stars further from the moon were like miniature Christmas lights twinkling so bright in the sky. It's one of those times everything becomes silent and you feel as if you are "one" with the Universe and everything within it.....just so beautiful.
