One Year
Well it has been one year since I started WA. I have learned so much and still have much more to learn.
First I want to say that if you follow WA format and training, it does work. Just be patient with it. I believe everyone has seen Kyle and Carson say that the things you do on your website are cumulative. Nothing could be closer to the truth.
You cannot, and should not, expect to build an online business in 30 days, or even a couple of months. It takes time just like any other business.
The good news is you can build a successful business with a little work. Oh, and it does take work. There are two great things about the work. One you choose when to do the work. Two you only have to do it once. My most successful post was done within the first 30 days of starting my website. Today it still brings in over 40% of my traffic. I would love to see some of my other posts do as well.
I am getting better, quicker, and more efficient at writing posts. I also am getting more and more traffic on the most recent posts. There are a number of reasons I can say this is happening. One is the more you try something, the better you get. Another one is that the website itself is getting a better domain authority so the items get ranked quicker.
In one year I went from 0 visitors to my website to over 11000 a month. My latest goal is to hit 20,000 visitors in the month of June.
There were times when I wanted to quit, and just stop. I am very busy in every day life. I teach close to 35 hours a week. I manage the teachers at our small school. I run a successful pizza restaurant. I run about 4 blogs and run a small IR firm and more. So anyone who says that they dont have time is just not serious.
It really doesnt take that much time. Just set a schedule, just like any other job. Keep at it and know that you are building something. I work hard today so that tomorrow I can play. I like nice things. This summer I am going to Ireland to visit some friends. This could never have been possible without WA.
Keep the faith and know that your efforts will pay off. Maybe not today, or tomorrow, but they will pay off.

Not yet at 20,000 visitors, that is my goal for June. I think I can do it if I can keep publishing like I am . I would actually like to publish more than I currently am. My point is just follow what is outlined and your business will grow.

wow! you are a busy guy! Thanks so much for this post! It is truly motivational. And, you are right...anyone serious enough about making this work will find the time. I have a full time pet boarding and grooming business I run from my home, as well as two websites to maintain. I manage to write 2-4 new posts/week and am involved in the WA community. And, I still find time for fun with friends and family.
11,000 visitors/month is very impressive! Way to go!
Thank you Barb. You sound very busy as well. I wrote a post a while back. It was about trying or being committed. I think many people try something but are not committed. To be successful you really need to be committed not just try.
