First Try at Launch Jacking

I haven't written any posts here in, well to be honest way too long. There are so many reasons for that. I won't get into all the details why, but it is sufficient to say I have been working on multiple projects online at the same time.

First off I have jumped on the wagon and gotten a VA. Well, they actually approached me. One of my mentee's (I mentor them not sure what the right word would be LOL) volunteered to manage my highly neglected Instagram account. I am providing them with some services as well as continued coaching.

This is helpful as I know the power of Instagram, but really I am not a master at any social media platform. In the mean time I have launched 3 additional websites. I have also learned a ton about SEO and backlinks.

I know WA is not big on creating backlinks. Believe me I understand why. If you are a newBe you really will not understand what a good backlink is and what a bad one is. It really just takes time to learn that. I could explain 1000 times to a new person and what many of them will hear is they need to go buy backlinks.

NO, NO, NO! Don't go buy backlinks, especially from places like Fiverr. If you are going to do something like that you can expect to spend $500 or more a month on building backlinks. It is of course easy to build your own. There are many things I have done of the years here. I just wish they had an advanced course on backlinks and how to properly build them.

Okay sorry I got off topic, but it was really for a reason. Last month I took some serious time finding a good product that was launching about a month later. I ended up finding one and reviewed the product. From there I went through and wrote a nice review. All of this was done a month ago. Then began to build good quality backlinks to that page.

Fast forward to today. Tomorrow morning the launch takes place. Currently of the 4 search terms I was going for I am on the first page. The rankings fluctuate daily, but range from 1-10 spots. A video that I made and interlinked with my backlinks is now ranking at a solid number 2 for the main keyword.

I also built a second post pointing to the first one centered around the product. While it was not a sales page it was a page for people who might be looking for a product that could help with the issue at hand. Then linked that one to the other page for future traffic.

I could never have come this far without Wealthy Affiliate training. This again is the first time I have tried this process. Now, tomorrow I could crash and burn, but it was a great learning experience.

The whole point of this is always push your boundaries to see what you really can accomplish. Don't jump in thinking you can make a million dollars tomorrow. It takes time to build up a good business.

Never stop learning new things. Make sure you have a good grasp on one thing before you move to the next. Help everyone you can along the way and you too will be a success!
