Like Holy Water

Hello. :)

So, this is my first blog post here at WA - I hope that you like it.

So far I've been really encouraged by the positivity that everyone seems to spread, whether it be through warm welcomes, kind words, or readied practical help. It's amazing to see just how many people are part of the online community trying (and succeeding) to make a brand or business for themselves through WA, and we aren't even a dent in the amount of people doing it on their own, I imagine!

Whatever the number here, it is very reassuring to know that this is a community that practices kindness and equity. Experiencing all this warmth, I'm reminded of a song called 'Holy Water' by We the Kingdom that compares God's love and forgiveness to holy water on the skin. They sing that it's 'like the sound of a symphony' and 'sweet, sweet honey.'

No doubt - God's love is miraculous and pleasing, but what I believe they're referring to is a feeling that these things naturally create within us. Mainly, the feelings of peace and comfort.

Now, to be fully honest, I am not someone naturally inclined to outward friendliness. Reflected friendliness, sure.. But I am far from having that leader-like ability to initiate a hand in friendship as I have always been quite introverted. I truly do, though, admire and appreciate you if you have been someone to extend to me your virtual hand by following or welcoming me.

It truly does give me some peace and comfort. Like holy water does. :) Especially being so new to even the idea of making money online. You've really helped ease my anxiety about trying something new.

So, in the positive spirit here at WA, thank you and good luck to you. :)
