Any Christian-Focused Bloggers Out There? (Little Help!)

Hi, WA family.

I am an aspiring Christian self-help book blogger and I have just gotten to the part of the training where I am to make my first keyword-rich content post to my website, but seem to be a little bit at a loss for what would be a good idea for a first post. While I am not a new Christian, I am, as Paul the Apostle would say, still in the 'milk' stage of my journey.

That being said, I would deeply appreciate any advice or insight anyone might have as to what I could write about. How did you figure out what to choose for a first post? I promise to keep an open mind.

I have a little experience in the areas of more supernatural subjects such as signs (as in coincidences that simply cannot be coincidences), dreams, and pullings of the Holy Spirit, but I do not think my experience is enough to expand into an entire post.

Would love it if I could get a.. LITTLE HELP! Lol. :) Thanks in advance, y'all.

Manuel

Hi Manuel I got an answer for you that I mistakenly put under Geofrey's answer.
Hope it helps.

I see the potential in your approach as I've seen a program requiring me to meet a quota to be an affiliate partner with them, so the traction idea does make sense if no one if visiting your website for 6-8 months. Thank you for the ideas, I'll give them a good mulling over. :)

Hi Manuel. I think you need to look around and see what affiliate programs there are and then what type of books etc that they have and this will help you decide what niche to go down.

Hmm, good idea. That would help me narrow it down. Thanks alot. :)

Yes as u cud take any avenue but if nothing to sell then there is little point

I suggest that you first write what your faith dictates. Tackle a problem that most Christians are facing without thinking about possible revenue. Anyway if your website is new you cannot see any substantial earnings within three months or more because you will only have a very small audience at first.
My site is somehow related to Christian self-help. I realized that I will write to help other Christians and earnings will follow soon. As a result I always come up with topics to write using the Bible. I follow the training by targeting low competition keywords.
Examples of my topics.
1. What is true love in the Bible
2. Adultery and the Bible
3. How to change my mind
4. The secret of happiness and success
5. Personality development tool- the best and most effective
6. Depression and the Bible

All of these topics are low hanging fruits KW and I use the Bible as the main source of my answers.

Hope this helps.

It depends why you are here. If it is to make money while you are writing about something you are passionate about, then there is no point unless you decide what your market is going to be first. If you just want to write and not make it a business then there are bound to lots of free forums which will allow you to do that. If there are no affiliate links then revenue will not follow, as it is impossible do so.
If you want to run a business then the business and your belief will run together, not separately.

I got your point. The message is actually for Manuel. My bad I wrote it down in your answer for him. I'm not saying that putting affiliate links is a no no. I got affiliate links on my articles. My point is there is no use to put affiliate link now if nobody is reading the articles. I believe I can always put any affiliate links when I gain traction. It's just my strategy for now.
I like exchange of ideas from experts like you and I also respect opinions.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
